Habitat for Humanity -
Thank you all for making the Habitat for Humanity, Palmer Avenue construction site a success. We were all thrilled to know that we had the chance to work side-by-side with the three deserving families targeted for future homeownership. We also learned that one of the families is a member of California Credit Union and works for LAUSD as a teachers assistance for special needs children.
Again, you all made the event an absolute delight and it was a pleasure working with everyone.

Welcome,
These are exciting times, and I eagerly look forward to the future of San Fernando / Antelope Valley (SF/AV) Chapter, a chapter serving the member credit unions of the California Credit Union League (CCUL) in these areas.
The first event I attended as a member of the Chapter’s Board of Governors was the CCUL’s Chapter Leadership Conference in Ontario, CA. There the SF/AV Chapter was recognized for many achievements in fundraising, community involvement, Shapiro support and other categories. Unfortunately however, we did not meet all our goals for the year while other chapters did, receiving additional recognition. I desire our chapter and member credit unions to be honored for all their hard work with this special recognition at future conferences. And we will. I am sure we can reach this goal if we, as a chapter, focus on our Mission Statement of …
